Detailing and paintwork help

I have a 1973 TR6 that had a full renovation in1998

The paint work although not bad needs some attention. I have a bout 4 places that have crazing below the paint about the size of a 5p each. This is very early signs of a little rust on the surface of the metal but under the paint. They are 2 on o/s rear qtr 1 on o/s door and 1 on near side door

I also have multiple swirl marks and fine scratches across the car

I have looked at a few detailers who all seem to suggest that scratches and swirls are pretty simple but nothing I have read suggests anything about the crazing / rust

If I was doing it myself I would probably use a small detail sander, treat the metal, and build up with touch up with a very fine wet sand

If I was to get each panel painted it would possibly be an issue with multiple colour match so would really be full respray but these are vey small just frustrating as I know they are there and will get worse

Any thoughts

The crazing is most likely to be lacquer beginning to peel so will need sanding back, respraying and then having another coat of lacquer on top I'm afraid.

Thanks definitley not lacquer peeling. It is a small amount off rust as had it looked at about 3 years ago but it was so minimal then (still not bad now) but want to get it sorted before it gets away from me. Staying on top of jobs is the only way with a classic

As other detailing companies will back me up here, if any actual paintwork needs doing, it's a bodyshop job - We can work magic, but if there is rust, that's something we just can't do. A small blister of rust will require treatment including fairly aggressive sanding to remove it, before then building back up with rust treatment, primer and paint - And sadly, a good job will generally require a full panel to be painted.

A photo may help, but it does sound like it could be a big job
