GTR visit scheduled...
Discussion
I've been in touch with a local (only about 3 hours distant) owner to whom I was referred by the factory and have scheduled a viewing (not sure if I'll get a ride) for next weekend. This particular car was a turnkey, so I won't be able to pump him for details on the build process, but I should get a good feel for overall quality, etc. The car I'll be seeing is shown on the factory website (red one pictured with various trophies) and certainly looks good in the photos!
I've made an initial engine selection (383ci SBC w/dry sump - 640HP configuration) and am mulling the transmission choice. I want something geared to be reasonably streetable, but capable of 200+MPH. I'm not sure if that's an achievable compromise, but it's my initial goal.
Anyway, I should probably get busy clearing out a garage bay. Anyone in the US want to buy a motorcycle? How about four? :-)

Ken, Welcome to the Ultima community. I wanted to advise you that there will be a substantial gathering of Ultima owners and builders on April 11 in Morgan Hills Ca. From the personnel experience of attending one of these meets in Illinois while I was in the construction process the money and time spent up front with guys who have been there done that will reap a substantial return on investment. PM me if you want further details, Lee
