Attachment for low jack ?

Just bought one of those low slung car jacks which is great for the front end but discovered the back end is a bit more complicated due to the exhaust pipes. I remembered that someone posted a thread showing a home-made attachment to fit over the jack and locate the main chassis members however I can't find the original thread.
One of these "attachments" was wood but the other metal both of which seemed to do the job.
Can anyone advise what the thread was please.

You and me both!
I'd add a bit of rubber to those ideas, my main chassis rails are corroding badly where its obviously been jacked up.
