I was wondering, whilst making a few changes to my car, how many others see their Ultima as a 'work-in-progress'. Or do others complete the build and see the car as 'finished'.

I have other projects so it is not a lack of other things to do but I am not sure it will ever be 'finished'.

Work in continual progress, which is half the fun. Lee

I don't think I'll ever stop messing around with the Cam An! It's in the garage with the wheels removed and a bunch of parts being prepared for install smile I'm sure it'll never be finished, which is fine by me!

Always thinking up stuff to do, currently looking at adjustable throw quick shift set up and also toying with the idea of a bigger volume pro-charger with driver selected variable boost control.
Oh, and still not sure if the new wheels I want will fit without a set of spacers frown

I bought my kit, built it over a 2-year period, drove it 1000 miles, then sold it, and moved on to the next project.

I'm building mine for the moment. Will drive it and modify as time goes by and upon my death wish to be buried with it.

Sure, and even when they take my driving licence away, I'll get it installed inside the house and I'll sit around it (I'll no longer be able to climb inside...) and enjoy some nice V8 sound tracks.
The only way I'll sell is if someone offers me more than what it costs to build...

My children argue about which one will get to inherit my Ultima, but I have told them I plan to use mine as my coffin.

Just make sure you drain all the liquids or they will dig the whole lot up and declare it a toxic waste dump.

So do you want both hands on the wheel or one on the shifter and the other on the wheel ?
