I've decided to buy a 2011/12 CLS 350 cdi as they seem to offer excellent value at the moment. I also considered the A7 but decided on the CLS.

With it being a diesel, is it worth bothering with a aftermarket exhaust?

I'm definitely going to have it remapped.

I was looking at the Brabus exhaust but thought it might be pointless.

Looking at 2 cars this weekend.

I've decided I want to fit a Brabus "plug in chip box" , 20" Vossens and get it wrapped matte/satin black.

My old man has just handed back a 2011 CLS 350 CDI at the end of its lease. Great car, lovely smooth (for a diesel) engine and a lovely way to travel.

My only issue with it was rear headroom. With the shape of it you'd expect it not to be great, but even an average height person (like me) will be sat with their head touching the ceiling, which isn't great on longer trips, especially when my tiny mother refuses to sit in the back because she says it makes her sick!

They seem really good value and I don't sit in the back smile

Thanks for the heads up though.
