Noisey Windscreen Wipers

Hi guys I have recently bought a 2010 V8 Vantage and I've noticed that you can hear a faint whine when the wipers operate is this a common or known issue ? It has started to get quite annoying

One would like to think that it is normal, but I suspect it isn't. I assume the car is out of any warranty? If it's so irritating I suspect a brief trip to an AM garage for their opinion. If you are anywhere near Chiltern Aston I would go there. The last thing you want is a wiper failure which would only happen when they are needed.

I had this on my V12V from new.

They replaced the motor (after a bit of "persuasion" ) and this rectified the problem.
