It was 22 March. I was a huge fan and was lucky enough to see him win his first Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1973. AS mentioned in this month's Motor Sport his book (not ghost written ) Speed with Style is one of the very best of GP drivers(and CAn Am , Indy , Trans Am etc) works. RIP Peter - he was the coolest of the cool.
