R129 500 - Stupid Question Time

Hi All,

Apologies for the 'numpty' question but here goes -

If I want to have the gearing of my SL 500 in S mode should the little switch to the left of the gear selector be pushed up to expose the S (covering the E) or pushed down to cover the S (expose the E).

I'm having fun booting the car around testing, but can't make up my mind which way round it should be.

Think it should be covering the S.
Just drive it in both modes and whichever has the more responsive throttle and gear changes will be S and just see which position switch is at.
Then leave it there lol

E visible= Economy (can also be used in slippery conditions)
