Can't help with th DVD, but as I went to one of them, you'll need the following for the full experience:
Place TV in view of shower.
Stand in shower with it set to cold.
Get a group of scousers in tracksuits to stand in shower behind you, talking loudly and pissing on the floor.
At end of DVD go for 2 hour walk to recreate the fact that there was no public transport back to civilisation.

pay for the 'nice' seats as you're with your G/F whilst your pals the cheap skates opt for standing......then you realise that you're way way down the dock and they have a cracking view at a 5th of the price.
then turn one of your speakers down to a low murmur and stand as far away from both of them as possible.....

yes I was there as well and boy was it wet! but what a great concert! believe it or not I took my dad and he loved it, this is the reason for the DVD request, he is 88 now and I would love to show him the concert again but I lost my VHS copy years ago and thought I would ask the pistonhead world for help.

I remember this being on the TV. I'm pretty sure I recorded it, but as I write this out I'm thinking it might have been somewhere else - Houston, perhaps? Maybe the Docklands one was only on FM radio.
Interesting the 'live vs. recorded' comment as a friend of mine made the same comment recently about another of JMJ's gigs. Though it might be 'live vs. programmed / sequenced' given that it's all electronic.

Destination Docklands was only released on VHS. It was a Mike Mansfield Production and was heavily edited and reworked. Many tracks were cut in length or omitted altogether. Apparently a lot of the video footage was not useable as it was not good enough quality, due to the weather.
I think some of the actual show had live elements, i.e instruments played live over playback.
It would appear that the footage from the concert was effectively overdubbed with cut down versions of studio recorded tracks for the video. There are some versions uploaded onto youtube, recorded directly off the live radio broadcast, and you can hear the difference to the versions on the VHS tape.
For example Industrial Revolutions Overture, 1, 2, 3 and Rendez-vous 4 were considerably longer on the live recording than on VHS, and the vocals on September are "ropier" on the live recording than on the overdubbed (straight from Revolutions) vocals on VHS! That is why Mirielle Pombo's mouth does not match the vocals on the Video!
You will also notice Hank Marvin's Guitar playing does not match the sound on video either

A lot of people would like to see at very least it released on DVD. I imagine a lot would also love to see the "full" concert footage and preferably with the correct sound. I don't think any of that will happen though.

There was a Radio 1 broadcast of the Saturday show, musically quite different from the VHS that came out.
Revolutions wasn't a great album, had its moments but aged very quickly, sounds like a demo for the Roland D50 keyboard.

Several of his albums seem to be simply showcases for a particular bit of kit, I think he was simply sponsored by the respective manufacturers at the time

I have a tape of the Radio 1 broadcast somewhere. Watched it on TV whilst listening to it on the radio.

Well to up date everyone, I tracked down a DVD and it arrived yesterday and it was a copy off the VHS tape! so no difference in quality but at least I can watch it as my VHS recorder went south years ago. I do find it interesting to watch after so many informed comments about the sound etc and Mike Mansfield editing does seem very dated now but the DVD is better than nothing and a memory of a great night spent in torrential rain in the east end!
