Theme: natural patterns

Should give everyone plenty of scope this month.

This thread is for discussion only - post images in the entries thread. Good luck all.

Rules.
The photos taken must be your own work
The shot MUST be taken this month, with the closing date being midnight on the last day of the Challenge month
The exif must be posted with your shot
The competition will run from the today to the last day of the month
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
The Challenge for next month should be generic, as not everyone has access to zoom, macro, specialist lenses. It should be shots that everyone is capable of achieving with the bare essentials.
There will be two threads that need starting: The Entries thread to commence same time as Discussion thread. In the Entries thread only one picture should be entered. Any others you wish to discuss should be posted in the Discussion thread.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo.

It's a bit dull, but if you don't buy a ticket you won't win the lottery.

And why not, Martin? That's the only reason I got to set this month's Challenge.
However, to conform strictly to the rules, we need to see the Exif info.

Well, at least having only 2 entries makes my job easier. Unless there's some relevant technical difference I guess it's down to personal preference.

I like the colours in Jonathan's but I feel Martin has the edge with meeting the description.

So, well done Martin, and over to you for April.

Victory is mine! Thanks to MonzaEvo for some tough competition.

Anyway, it seems to be a little tricky coming up with a new subject for this month's competition, but one will be on it's way shortly.
