My shopping list was these for £60k ish. No dodgy colours, low miles, etc.
991 C2S pdk private buy with manufacturers warranty
997 turbo manual gen2/no sunroof
997 GT3
Can take a long time to get the one you want, I had one private seller tell me he's just taken a deposit on it, would I like to offer more ? Would have bought any of those three if I found one I liked but I think I've got the right one in the end, GT3.

Thanks carl, Skill level as a driver is pretty good, also have driven Porsches for years as my father has 3.
Looking more like a GTS at the moment as there is speculation this could become a future classic? Is this true?
Im not in a rush, so maybe next year I will be able to find a 991? That if I can't find my perfect 997.

First Porsche I would go for a mid engined car first and then graduate into a 911 if you want an extra challenge.
Depends on what you are used to and your skill level as a driver.
Don't be blinded by all the gt3 talk on here, the downsides are as numerous as the upsides.
Contrary to this, I'd be looking only at Mezger versions, 997 and before GT and Turbo cars (don't be fooled by GTR, it's just a carrera), 993 and before, anything mid engined will not do well resale wise.Depends on what you are used to and your skill level as a driver.
