Now I am sure that the vast majority of Yorkshire pistonheaders will have enjoyed the M1 roadworks recently. Whilst sitting at 50 just south of Leeds a conversation in car went along the lines of ... "On the new central concrete barriers there's a purple pipe approx 100mm diameter, what's it for?".
Answers ranged from supplying ice-cream to others (unrepeatable). Does anyone know the real answer?
