Seen many Vauxhall Adams about?

I saw a Vauxhall Adam on the road the other day and it suddenly occurred to me, it must have been out for a year now but you (or at least I) never ever see them.

Am I just 'Adam-blind', or has it been a bit of a flop?

Plenty round these parts. Seems to have outnumbered the new shape Ford Ka.

Not a single one down here which is a surprise when you look how popular 106's, Saxo's, DS3's, Micra's and Corsas all were.

I've not seen all that many around, though I do know a girl who has one. It's not a bad looking car, for it's class so I am a bit surprised it hasn't sold more. A VXR model would surely give it some credibility. The name does it no favours either.

I think they're a really great looking little car. Surprisingly classy looking. I haven't seen loads about but a few, which at least makes a change from the ubiquitous Minis and 500s.

I've seen three in the entire time since it was released. It looks like an entirely bland and unremarkable hatchback so I would expect to have seen loads about. I think the Vauxhall marketing team forgot that 7yr olds aren't allowed driving licenses and as a consequence most new cars are bought by adults, hence calling it the 'Adam' was one of the worst ideas in marketing history.

My girlfriend looked at one but ended up buying a Hyundai i20 instead. The Adam is a good looking, well screwed together car but at the time she decided (rightly, I think) that it costs too much for what it is and has an absolutely appalling name, made even more stupid by the fact that it's supposedly named after Opel's founder who of course don't trade under that name in the UK.

I live in Tunbridge Wells and I've seen exactly two on the road in the last year, three if you include a demonstrator

I think it shows what's on your phone (OS/Android) - media, nav etc. Good toy, more cars should do it. I like the RR inspired sparkly roof lining too but apart from that, no thanks. Not seen many either.

Girl at work has one in appliance white. It's the only one I've seen ever. Looks weird in white like a small lump of plastic.

A 17 year old apprentice at work had a brand new one delivered to work last summer. Quite a novelty with the other lads at work for all of 5 mimutes but just blends in with the other hatches now.

Was behind one the other day. Looks a bit odd from the back. Think i've only seen one other on the road and I live 5mins away from a Vauxhall dealership. They did have a horrible mustard yellow one display out front for a while.

My sister's got one in maroon with a cream roof.

Not a bad car actually. Rides well enough and has plenty of kit on it (think it's a mid range model). Don't think much if the engine though (1.4 petrol).

As someone mentioned above I think the price lets it down. My sister paid over £13k for hers. That's a lot of money for a tiny car.

You could buy a real car for that. In fact not long ago you could have bought a VW Golf for that! (They were rolling out brand new ones for about £12,500).

Only seen one,and we had to wait for local paper to identify it. If £13k, I'd sooner have a Fabia.

I've seen very few, why would you buy one? If the prospective owner must have a Vauxhall badge surely many will steer towards the Corsa, which has some cracking deals available for leasing, financing ETC? Personally, I'd rather have a Fiesta, or a Fabia, or even a Corsa, this Adam is an ugly little thing.
