What does a 4.2 Cerbera need along side it . . . . . ?
Discussion
Another 4.2 Cerbera. Thats what.
With my 'project' Cerbera firmly sat in the Pending Bay of my drive I couldn't resist the urge to buy a usable one to fill the 2-3 year gap before the Project car is complete. So tonight I did the deed and bought the blue 4.2 for sale at Mortimers. It really is as good as the pictures suggest. No stone chips. Immaculate interior. 42k with perfect history with reams of invoices and all from Fernhursts who were the supplying dealer. Last owner for 10 years etc, etc.
So I paid the deposit and collect the car soon.
The project car is still waiting for space in my garage. With a Tiger Kit Car to finish and our VX220 track car close to completion I would hope to start the restoration early this summer. I plan a full nut & bolt. Colour change, re-trim, headlight upgrade etc. But it won't happen overnight. Hence the blue car.

And a couple of the red project car …..
