Anyone near stowmarket that can have a look at a car for me? A 350i wedge seems st satisfy everything I want; low mileage, very good interior and good colour. Just spoke to the person selling, he's had it in part exchange for a caravan and doesn't know very much about them.

Don't want to do an overnight train journey from scotland to view a dud. I done that once and cracked open a bottle of whiskey to drown the disappointment as I booked the train tickets back home.

Willing to throw beer money via paypal for someone to go look for me.

Anyone know anything about the car?

It's a 1990 350i. Didn't they stop making them a few years earlier???

Thanks and ta-rah

I would send PK500 a message.
He is in that neck of the woods and is a serial wedge owner/mechanic so knows what he is looking at.

Edited to add

I have sent him a message on FB about your post

What you can see of the exhaust looks to be stainless although the headers are corroded so probably mild steel.

Looks bloody lovely, 1990 would be a very late 350i but still kosher, 42k miles is nowt, get it bought thumbup

Thanks for looking for me. smile

Just found this on eBay, right next to stowmarket.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1987-E-reg-TVR-Tasmin-35...

Looks like I'm going to be viewing two of them. Can always use it to haggle down the price of the one in stowmarket. shoot

The red one is the same colour as mine! I often get complimented on the colour.
But like Zig says the Blue one looks a bargain!

I've agreed a price and will collect on Thursday on the condition that I don't find any serious faults.

Paying quite a lot for the car but I've been looking for one in great condition for months!

I've saved 5k by buying a wedge instead of a chimaera, so the rest might be going on a supercharged mini smilebiggrin
