A friend of mine is holding a very special D Day commemoration dinner on the 31st May.

The details are here www.ddaydinner.co.uk
It's raising funds for Normandy Veterans and they have 30 coming including one from the States and one from Canada plus 150 guests.

She needs some 'period' people to mill about for 2 hours 1800 to 2000 to add atmosphere to the place. Maybe a vehicle of two, or some troops parading up and down, a small scene somewhere, anything really that would add a bit of atmosphere. They can go when the dinner starts or stay in the bar, the room Eisenhower made the decision, until after the dinner and then re join for the rest of the entertainment and auction etc.

If anyone knows of or can help then please contact Lorie via the website.
Thanks!

It might be worth speaking to someone at Fort Nelson.
They have frequent small displays with volunteers dressed in period WWII uniforms, i`m sure they do it as there hobby, so i doubt there would be any costs involved?
