The V8 is almost complete and the car is going for a new exhaust system and manifolds making next week, are there any particular "type" of manifolds which I need to consider?
I was thinking of something similar to a wedge type 4-2-1 each side

The MG stype can be an option, they are very narrow.

All later RV8 TVRs had 4 into 1, maybe better or maybe just what would fit in the space available?

Very different but those MG ones are also 4 into 1 scratchchin

don't know what engine you have re cc, but I`d say you`d need your primary pipes to be around 26" in length if possible, doesn't matter if the lengths are different by too much as this will help to spread the torque in the rev range.
a 4 into 1 system is ok, it all depends on how it can be packaged in the car, if you have room then I`d suggest pairing primaries from 1 and 5, and 3 and 7 on one side, and 2 and 4, plus 6 and 8 on the other bank, the secondaries need only be about 8-10" in length before joining together to join the main exhaust pipe.

The engine is a 3.9 sd1 with stage 1 heads holly carb so not outrageous, as everyone knows, there isn't a great deal of room but I like the idea of the 26" length ones. Has anyone any pictures they could share?
Thanks
