Silverstone noise monitoring points

103/4db Celica,
So will need to go easy past the monitoring points hence wanting to know where they are.
A marked circuit map would be ideal but not managed to find one anywhere online.
Is it a low noise day/evening? That noise wouldn't normally experience problems at Silverstone. So will need to go easy past the monitoring points hence wanting to know where they are.

I wouldn't worry too much. On most days I've been there have been GT3 cup cars and the like. I've never seen anyone black flagged on drive by.
I got a warning that I was approaching the limit the last time we were there together Max. My car is quite loud though - 111dB without additional cans according to Oulton.Keep an eye out for the covered marshals post on the right at the start of the pit wall by the wing pits. The noise guy lays his sound meter on a table in there. If there's nobody in there, there's effectively no sound measuring going on...

I would be very surprised if Silverstone didn't have data logged fixed noise monitoring points round the track, almost every circuit does now.As ever with the internet, anyone can read what you post including Silverstone staff. The limit is 102db, they have mobile noise monitoring and will be using it.
If you think you may be over the 102db limit then please don't attempt to go on track, with the track sessions being so short, anyone black flagged could realistically end that session causing everyone else to lose their track time as apparently black flags quite often lead to red flags as people confuse the two and with only 30 minutes for each session, even a brief pause could bring the session to an early end.
Please think of others

+1 , the TDO's and circuits will get their ears pinched too if any complains from locals too. We need track days and circuits to be available to us and noise issues is always a problem.
One of our cars was to loud to do with induction noise and lost the track day without a lap done. We made sure it passed next time as rules are rules.
My thoughts
