AskMID Issue

I have just changed insurance company and have just checked the askMID website to be greeted with.

The details on the MID are:

Vehicle Make/Model: INVALID USE CODE 07130549

It does show it as being insured, checked with the insurance company and they had an incorrect date of 1st registration so hopefully that is what was causing the issue.

Anyone seen it before?

Think I've seen a thread on here about it before, some insurers just have pretty dodgy interfaces to MID it seems.

My car shows as "KIA RIO STRIKE AUTO" - it's manual.

Mehh. As long as it shows up insured, you won't get a tug by ANPR equipped police vehicles and will be left to go on your way.

My motorhome gets "Vehicle Make/Model: DUMP CODE COMPANY USE" on askMID. It comes up green as insured though.

It has been like this for years, its either the motorhome insurer who outputs this for some company reason or more likely the lack of a full model/converter name being available.
