I used to run a nice one of these as daily transport (with brakes sorted) but it didn't look quite like this!

That's bizarre - why would you do that? I like the fact that the advert completely fails to mention the comedy add on snout.

"needs a bit of tlc" - the umbrella phrase used to describe complete basket cases no one in their right mind would touch with a barge pole.

Back in the 80's my mate parted with £800 for one of these. It was a non runner so needed towing, as we pulled away and took up the tension, the bulkhead started to separate from the body eek. I've seen cars under the ocean with less rust on them.

Needless to say it was an expensive lesson learned.
