Short-term European Car Insurance

So I'm driving from the UK to Turkey along with my father in his car later this year. Can anyone recommend any temporary insurance cover?

I only need to be covered for the week or so it's going to take us to drive there. He's going to remain in Turkey with the car for a few months and I'm flying back soon after arriving.

3rd party would be fine. In fact the bare legal minimum is fine.

Just use a dayinsure type service. It will cover you for the minimum in any EU country.
