C63 exhaust modes?

I've started driving more in Sports Handling Mode these days thanks to learning the limits of the Quaife diff and a recently revised remap. As a result i have noticed that the exhaust is a bit louder and blips a lot more on downshift. The crackling and popping is pretty extreme at times and i'm wondering if its something to do with the engine throttle mode? Not that i'm complaining because its cool as fook!

Any thoughts?

Probably just the way the transmission holds onto gears longer, and shifts down at higher revs when changing down compared to when you are in Comfort.
If you like the noise you should consider a valved exhaust, which you change by a button on a key fob....then at least the neighbors will know when you are on the way home......not that a standard C63 is quiet
