Ford ka please help!

Hi ya anybody- my son disconnected my daughters battery on her ford KA now her stereo won't work !! Anybody know how to get the code... It's a 6000 - it's got a code on the side m022850 ???

Visit a dealership is probably easiest way.

Check the handbook too, a lot of the time they are on a sticker in there somewhere.

Check the handbook, might be written in it. If not phone up the dealer and give the reg and they will give you the code.

First port of call is the handbook - front page or rear page. There might be a radio booklet in the service wallet with the code on.

If not, sometimes ex owners (stupidly) write the code on the body of the unit in permie pen.

Otherwise a call to the dealers and they should be able to give you the code FOC.

Infact, a quick online check reveals some decoding software.

Your code should be 3504. Try it and let me know how you get on.

In order of least costly;

Handbook first, decoder after that, new cheap stereo after that, Ford Stealership after that.
