It's that time of year again when I take the Wedge out for a cruise down Wood Green High Street. Today being warm and sunny I thought would be a good opportunity to do the yearly run. This is just to make people in the neighbourhood aware that I am back in my Wedge. This seasonal cruise however takes place in a certain style each year. The top has to be down, music must be blaring (usually 'Hound Dog' by Elvis), my hair is slicked back with loads of brylcream and the dark shades are on. I normally I sit a little off center in the car towards the door with my arm hanging over the edge, as this is considered to be a bit cool. Then I just cruise. Right now I'm off to do just that.

What do you do with your Wedge to celebrate the return of the Wedge season?

I usually pray to the gods it starts, then wonder where the winter months went and why I didnt get all the wee jobs done. Then I remember the MOT is due in April and run around in a panic checking it for the MOT.
Then I like my little tour of the borders, Musselburgh, down to Carter Bar, back via Kelso, splendid fun.

Ah, the Newcastleton road from Jedburgh, surely one of Scotland's best-kept secrets biggrin

Same here - and I might even wash it this weekend to celebrate - first wash of the year!

Tony your posing sounds great - I hope you hand out flyers too advertising your act.
