Servicing schedule

I am just doing some research and wondered, how often is servicing required on basis I do very low mileage in a year?

Currently I am only doing around 1000mikes a year.

Annual - 6k, 12k, 6k, 12k with tappers and repeat

When I asked TVR Power the same question, Dom suggested that I get it serviced every 6k miles but if it took 2 years to do that then his view was that I wouldnt need to service it in-between

This was my thoughts, as doing low mileage shouldn't require 6k and 12k services every year.

I don't see the point of servicing for sake of date, based upon hardly any mileage being done.

I thought that the tappers needed doing every 12k not every-other 12k service, am I wrong?

Maybe I'm confused - what is the issue that needs looking at with a Speed 6 engine every so often?

That was my understanding, every 12k.

Yes tappets ever other year, one year is a 6k service, the next year is a 12 k service, if you don't follow the the service schedule and don't have it serviced every year ( no matter what mileage it does ) it will affect the price of the car as people will always want a fsh no matter what the mileage

Mine had TVR Power 5 year warranty and Dom was happy with service by mileage rather than by year, so that was good enough for me
