I've lived through swine flu, bird flu, SARS, AIDS, Rabies scares, BSE and mad cow disease. STDs, Ebola, I've been to Africa without jabs, had the odd fling with shall we say, women who weren't virgins, I eat out of date food and re freeze meat. People seem obsessed with hand gels and cross the road if someone sneezes. Don't get me wrong, I get sniffles and take the odd aspirin but how come all these diseases and scares have passed me by. I must be immortal.

You could be HIV positive, have Herpes and Hepatitis B/C and not even know it. With some of these things it can be 20 years before symptoms start showing up. Do let us know - you will be able to post as death is slow and painful.

I definitely could have those things, but, the way in which some people behave you'd think it was a certainty. These illnesses are almost an industry in themselves, scare mongering and an over reaction by people who have a vested interest in selling inoculations for something that is highly unlikely to happen. Salmonella that's another one. I've eaten loads of eggs, had a couple for brekkie today and it's done me no harm.

I do. I've never had a medal.
