Can I reject my Jaaag after nearly 6 mths. Any advice please

I purchased a 2010 Jaguar XJ last September which has now had brake failure 3 times.
First repair after 5 weeks of owning was a new servo.
Second repair 3 weeks later was front callipers and master cylinder,
Third repair 4 months later not diagnosed yet.

Can I legally reject this car ?

Awaiting reply from dealership .....but forewarned is forearmed.

It's a difficult one because after a certain amount of time you may be deemed to have accepted the car. I know it's not new but have you tried Jaguar Customer services for some extra leverage?

Rejection prior to acceptance is different than rejection because of a recurring fault.

The feel on the brake pedal has been consistent over the three failures ......does this not mean that they have tried to fix it twice already and failed ?

I would try to argue that point, that they didn't fix the original issue. You have given them three chances to correct it.

I don't know if that argument would hold water.

Seeing it's also an incredibly dangerous fault to have I'd be asking the garage to come with you on the test drive where you drive at a wall very quickly then test the ABS!

It's possible the dealer are telling you that the same brake fault is being caused by different things in order to make it harder for you to reject the car. They certainly won't want to admit that they haven't got the expertise to repair it properly, it's easier for them to blame different things going wrong, causing the same symptoms.
