Looking for paint protection film..... Any recommendations??

Hi fellow petrol heads.

I'm doing a 3,500 mile road trip round Europe in a couple of months time & think I should get some paint protection film on my front bumper, bonnet & wing mirrors.

Looking on Google, I have come across (1) Paintguard (2) Paintshield & (3) 3Mventureshield.dont know anyone who has used them, hence my asking for your help.

As it's going on my Porsche 911, I want it to repell stone chips, look invisible when on, as well as come off without leaving any residue/ marks/ damage on the original paintwork down the line. I don't want to spend stupid money either as I could fully wrap the car for the price I have heard some companies charge lol.

Any advice/ recommendations are much appreciated.

I've had Ventureshield on the front end of my Evo for 9 years now and it looks the same as the day it was fitted and has protected the paint really well.

You can see an edge on the film if you get close enough, but from a few feet away you can't tell it's there.

It is removable with a bit of heat and patience, though at £500 it's a pretty permanent fixture for me.

I have had paintshield on my car since new, 4.5 years ago and it still looks good, and has done what it's there for admirably.

Lots of cars through work use Venture-shield and is almost invisible!

I was worried that it might look crap and looks is very important to me. Absolutely no complaints, very happy.
