Why would anyone do this to an Aston Martin?

This car was at the dealership yesterday. Matte metallic anodized blue with gloss black roof, taillights and taillight infill, and matte black lower rear bumper, grille, strakes and window trim. Really?

Seriously, who is this clown? Chav much? Who in their right mind would do this rather than stick with the standard, factory-approved silver/gray/black color scheme? It's a travesty I tell you.

Okay, I'll put my head above the parapet and say that it doesn't look too bad... There's some character there (not sure about the roof) and I'm less convinced by the white one with beige roof in the background. One man's meat and another man's poison I suspect.

Now, back to my standard meteorite car... Oh, where was cobalt blue when I wanted it!!!

Mind you, after the OP, I hope the future owner never reads this thread!!!

Adendum: Even as I was typing... people were rushing to praise this one... glad I'm not totally alone!

Maybe I'm missing something but I think it looks OK and subtle enough. As for black silver or grey - yawn! Besides, it's his car and his money smile

That looks stunning, although I'd ditch the Lexus lights for red ones.

I love the new trend to break away from the black and greys.
Thumbs up for me.

I am very traditional with Aston Martins, and so reading your comments KarlFranz, before seeing the photographs, I was anticipating the worst.

However (although not for me) I was very surprised, because I think it does work quite well. A stunner in fact, if someone does want a 'look at me' Aston.

What do you reckon George?

When you say 'white one', presumably you are not saying, white Aston Martin?

You are a lucky lot in (parts perhaps of) the USA.
No front number plate, and it looks so much better.

That will never happen here though. Motorists have now become a 'cash cow', for councils and the government. They have to read a number plate, to demand the money.

Is that the dealership just across the way from the millennium Mall?? If so I have had a look around there when we were last in Florida....

Very funny K-F. Looks like the tail-light mod turned out well then?
