Guys,

I am just about to get a snow foam and wanted to know which snow foam solution is PH neutral but has good cleaning qualities, I have just had the car detailed and waxed so don't want to strip the wax of after a few washes.

Same applies for washing shampoo anyone know of decent PH neutral one that will remove crap but not the wax. I currently use the Autoglym car shampoo which I found to be OK.

I use the Meguiars stuff the boys at www.polishedbliss.co.uk recommend. Its the first type I have bought as I am new to foaming, but I seem to re-call it doesn't strip wax. But there are many more knowledgable minds on PH that will be along in a moment I expect.

Usually use Valetpro PH Neutral which has always done me proud butI'm trying out Autofinesse Avalanche at the moment.... not that impressed to be honest. Valetpro clings much better and can be left to dwell for much longer, the Avalanche seems to thin down very quickly and doesnt shift anywhere near as much road grime.

Both are wax friendly though smile

On a side note I saw some 'Demonshine' snowfoam in Wilkos the other day, £2.50 down from a tenner and its alright! For less than the cost of a pint its worth it, clings well, nice thick foam etc. Didn't appear to harm the wax either so for a budget minded detailer its a no brainer.
