Hi all

I'm in need of some help getting a replacement light switch. My chimaera has been with a tvr specialist for a month now (for a service and few electronic issues) but they are struggling to get hold of a working switch. Any ideas where I could get one?

Really don't want to miss all this good weather!

Cheers

Picture attached is what I'm after:

Hi zed - I ordered a couple from breakers but unfortunately neither have worked yet...guess I'll just have to keep phoning around

I wouldn't mind betting that it's fixable. Do you know any electronic engineers that could take it apart and see what the problem is? Might be a 10p component blown.

If 3 separate switches don't work, are you sure you're not missing something such as a blown fuse, or poor contact?

Make sure the strip connector is the right way round - there's a '1' written on it somewhere, with a matching '1' on the circuit board.

Sorry to state the obvious, but it seems odd that all 3 are not working?

That's what I thought.

I had a similar problem with my fog switch last year. Contacted PS and was about to send, but a last ditch closer inspection revealed a dry solder joint. 2 mins with a soldering iron and all good again.

Don't know if they are still about but might be worth a call.

My fan switch didn't work after my dash was changed and it was this!

Turned the ribbon the other way round and it was working again.

Good luck.

Hi Flyboy,

I think I have one of these minus the aluminium. PM me if interested and I will check it out.

Mel.
