I have installed this on my phone for my M5. How do I find out my username and password to activate the app?

As above, go to the website.

Register with them. They will then send you and e-mail saying you are setup. Takes a few days. You will then recieve 2 text messages with your username then your password.

Login into the online part first before the app!

Then from then you have access to the app and also routes aswell where you can use bmw maps (google maps) to send your route to the car.

I hope unlike me you find a use for it.

Having set it up I really think I'd have better spent my time painting the hallway.

Utterly useless app IMO.

I agree with HoHoHo, if I ever lock the keys in the car then it might shine but until then useless.

Followed the link. Doesn't appear to be a way to register.

Can you not preset the heaters to come on to clear the windows etc? Surely that can be quite useful?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually heat the car 9it ay blow cold air if it does anything at all).

I've yet to meet anyone who uses the app aside from being able to send an address to the sat nav.

It's a waste of memory on the iPhone yes

I used it last summer to cool the car before driving homes on a couple of occasions and it was quite effective, although nothing you couldn't achieve by opening all the windows remotely as you walk up to the car.........

I believe for that to work you need an Aux pre heater which i guess is a BMW option on the already extensive listsmile
