So, just for grins, I decided to put on some lipstick tonight (yes, I just said that smile). A couple of people, including, the sales manager at my dealership asked if I had considered doing it. Since I knew it would only take a few minutes to do and I had some extra black gloss vinyl and it was fully reversible, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not fully convinced about the look. Below are a couple of pics in my garage of the results. I don't have enough room to back up and take a better picture right now. But, based on what you can see, what is your opinion, cast your vote above. Your results will decide the fate of the lipstick.

I should add that I will be spending the evening with the Aston Martin Racing team tomorrow, so the lipstick will stay on the car at least until then in their honor. smile

There's probably a need for some better photos on this one! I quite like lipstick (for V8Vs and beautiful women) but in this case it's a little hard to discern... Does it go that well with a matt finish?

I generally don't like it (looks more like a mouth rash than lipstick to me), but this is quite subtle and makes the grill appear more menacing and so I kinda do like it.

Mr QuinnyLuna, I need some advice from you on fitting lippy for Le Mans this year! I'll be in touch via email smile

KF, I like it, evidently you do too, so keep it on until you're bored of it. Who cares what the James Bond Resale Grey and Suicide Black leather crew think laugh

For what it's worth I'm with Quinny. It needs to be a contrastingly different colour to the grill/car. Orange sounds good.

Or on Second thoughts, how about yellow? The contrast certainly works on your Lotus! smile

If you do keep the lipstick you might also think about some lashes......

I was up for orange when I did mine..... But wasn't so sure about showing fluorescent orange at the front of a car being driven on the roads...

I normally don't like it but that's subtle and looks very cool IMO

I think it looks ok, helps you have a black grill.

Like the look of your car, very nice cool

The car looks fantastic either way with the stunning blue wrap - so the subtle lipstick does not add much, but maybe it makes it just a little more interesting.

Car looks great but the black lippy detractes from the impact from the grille shape. I prefer it without it.

I think tinted side repeaters would look good too.

Took a picture with my iPhone today at the local City Hall parking garage. Lipstick is still on. What do you guys think?

P.S. When my brother first saw the picture, he thought it was a Matchbox toy car on a table. laugh
