sometimes i wonder just how bad the driving standards are here. watch the vid and see if you find anything amiss.

i actually found myself wondering why the camera car wasn't hoofing it up the inside or at least shutting the door on the van for a giggle.

I agree, we see 10 times worse than that on a daily basis!

My driving standards have definitely fallen since I got here, but if you didn't change you would be walked all over by other drivers. I hope I just use my mirrors a bit more than the rest, and I don't class my indicator as a subsitute for looking in the mirrors or to my side.

Man, that guy deserved to be undertaken by "White Man Van". It pisses me off when people sit in the fast lane overtaking at like 1mph faster than the left lane. Pull out, overtake and get out the way. End of. Volvo

What worries me is how relaxed about the standards of driving over here I have become. I absolutely hated driving here when I first arrived and now I'm equally intolerant, but more resigned to it. I suspect thats due to spending a lot of time in Saudi and Qatar though..
