B7 RS4 and 124 E-Class
Discussion
A few years ago I posted THIS THREAD containing "versus photos" of my borther's M3 and my RS4.
I have now decided to post a similar thread containing photos of my two cars - The RS4 and the E320 Coupe.
Hardly rivals, being very different vehicles.
11 years, 1 litre, 2 cylinders and 200bhp between them, surprisingly cost around the same when new (ignoring inflation).
Each are lavished upon, but more importantly used!
Not to everyone's taste, but for those who are interested I hope you enjoy!
As you can probably tell, I'm not professional photographer with light being a bit of an issue at times! The camera used was a Nikon Coolpix P90.

Thank you for comments everyone
To answer the questions:
This example isn't a Sportline, but I have now had it fully converted to Sportline chassis spec (springs, dampers, steering box and anti roll bar.
I had actually just had the car raised slightly. It was on lower springs, but was quite crashy over Norfolk's bumpy roads. Although being higher, spring rate feels similar than before and a less aggressive camber is now at the rear. So despite being slightly higher, it is easier and more pleasant to drive quickly. It can be a little boat-like in faster corners or during a quick direction change, but is certainly more comfortable!
The wheels are 18" AMG alloys.
It took about an hour of shunting around after a previous hour of moving around my E320 and my parents' Merc CL420 for a similar photo set
Not much grass was torn up. It's still very soft from all the winter rain, so tyre marks are evident and the occasional boggy bit meant the grass was stripped away

Nice pair Sir!
Seem to remember the RS4 was a feature car in an edition of 'Audi Driver' (or whatever they call it), when the mag did a good article on the B7 RS4 range?

Yup, she's had her 15 minutes of fame.
They asked for a small piece; I ended up having a four page spread, them using all my writings and my photos

Thanks guys for the further comments.
The detango'ed headlights were the expensive route - one headlight developed a fault, so I ordered two new ones. You can change actually change the indicator lens, but with factory sealed headlight units it is something Audi aren't keen to do.
The Merc's colour isn't actually black. It's official colour is Emerald Green metallic, although for years I was telling everyone it was blue! Seems to change blue, green and black depending on the light
