Classic Garages

I don't know if there is a thread somewhere already, but while browsing the forum, iv seen some amazing "classic" garages. Has anyone got any pictures of their own, or a link to a thread if there ever was one? Or am I the only one sad enough to find garages interesting?!

No, there are others equally sad, myself included. Great idea for a thread, they managed to sell books on this topic so their must be some good garages on PH. I will get some done of mine to post.

I just love the idea of all the old Signs, and the petrol pumps etc. I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Thanks mate. Love that place, a shame it couldn't have been resurrected as a garage though. I'm surprised things weren't stolen from there sooner tbh.

It was/is tucked away in a residential street, really the last place you'd expect to come across quite a big disused garage. There was a traction engine outside in a kind of hedgerow for years - maybe just too big for your local travelling waste disposal operative to remove? Being overlooked by lots of houses it would have been quite difficult to get in and out completely unnoticed but I am as surprised as you.
