Sorry, another exhaust question

Sounds like either my drivers side back box or can is rattling, I did notice today the car was popping and banging more than usual.The more I listen the more im convinced its the baffles in the back box. My question is if I remove the back boxes with my car being decaated, is it going to be far to loud. Cheers

The rear oval boxes have nothing in them. They are resonators. I cut mine out as the tubes that the carbon cans fix to had corroded and cracked. The sound is crisper and not noticeably louder. The rattle could be the pipes on the cross brace plate that fixes below the exhaust / between the backbone chassis halfs.

I think you will get a shock when you fire it up, like maybe double the noise level ! Very angry and very nice sound but the neighbours may not forgive you.
