Is it just the wrong time to sell a convertible

My car has been for sale for a few weeks now and I have had 1 speculative phone call regarding it. It is the cheapest for the age on pistonheads. Its actually the cheapest on here never mind for the age. Is it simply because its a convertible. I always just assumed a car would sell if the price was right.

And no its not a free plug for "my car is for sale".

Cheapest is not always beat in my view, but It is more to do with photos or the wording of the advert usually.

Difficult to know without seeing the ad or knowing what car you have for sale..

Can some maybe give me some feedback regarding the ad. I have only ever really traded cars into dealers.

Is it the silver/tan Z3? Not the best combo but it is what it is.

My feedback on that ad. Terrible photos I'm afraid, low res camera and just dull dull dull. No real detail in the advert, what size engine is it??? It's just one block paragraph of words. 2 months MOT sets off minor alarm bells. No mention of service history. Sorry to be harsh!

Advice: The sun is out, clean the car, go to a park or somewhere nice, take much more and better pics with a better camera. Roof up, roof down. Write a detailed ad of the spec (your ad doesn't even say what engine it is). Consider spending 40 odd quid on a fresh ticket.

2077431 is for a Z3. Two issues i've noticed are that the pictures have been taken on a poor quality phone camera, and you haven't stated the engine size. Could be a weedy 1.9 or the 2.8 V6.

It is certainly not the best time to sell a convertible. That said, I did buy mine in January.

April is supposed to be the best time for second hand convertibles. For once you are expected to have the first warm and sunny weekends getting punters in the right mood, but also it is the end of the TAX year in the UK and some people might have got a little bonus.

I couldn't find your add, but based on the comments above, ask a friend or somebody who is into photography to take a few wide angle shots in front of a picturesque backdrop.

its a 1.9. Pictures are terrible and you woffle on too much in your add.

Thanks for the responses. I have changed the pictures now, hope these are better. I originally put the ad on from my phone. All feedback is welcome.

My C70 sold pretty quickly, I think I was luck that I cound someone who was after that type of car. I was also selling cheap.

Good pics and lack of waffle FTW.
