I'm sure anybody who is in the process of some heavy work on their car at the moment will feel the same.

Decided to tax the car over winter, not realising that there would be a total of about 5 dry days in the whole of 4 months! (That's value for money) Any ways, got to February and a few things needed attention so I decided to undertake an engine and gearbox removal for strip and rebuild.

Sod's law- the weekend I started, the weather turned lovely and has been stunning for the past 2 weeks! Argh! Anyone else feeling like their missing out on all the fun in the sun to be had at the moment? rolleyes

Yep I feel the same.
Had to waste hours this weekend sorting out the heater on the BM but all I wanted to do was get the Chim back on the road. Working outside with a tshirt, first time this year, summers coming. Shame the bloody car is still up in the air.

Yep, in the same boat, pulled my engine 10 days ago, since then it's been dry and sunny!

I estimate another 5 weeks before it will be back together!

I feel your pain but you're not missing out too much lads, I've been hooning it round the country lanes over the last few days, and I can tell you your right arm can get a bit cold with just a tee shirt on, First thing in the morning and later in the afternoon, the sun is quite low, and will make you squint if you haven't got a pair of really expensive sunglasses like I have. The roads are quite empty too so not many overtaking opportunities arise either. So as you can tell, it's not as much fun as you might think.

Hope this makes you feel a bit better.....

But imagine how you'd have felt if you bought a set of winter tyres.
Here I sit, broken hearted, paid a (pretty) penny and only saw puddles.
