Audio options for Benz SL R107 - advice please!
Discussion
I have a R107 1984 280SL Mercedes-Benz and want to upgrade the original Becker cassette deck with a modern head unit that will play CD's and have an aux input, or even better Bluetooth audio streaming capability.
Can anyone recommend a good clean looking headunit that won't ruin the interior of my car? Most of the stuff I have looked at is tacky/chintzy! Initially I was thinking of Blaupunkt but it doesn't look like they are up to much these days...

If you can find the retro-looking Blaupunkt Mexico Pro they made a couple of years back it looks right but is completely modern. trouble is they are rare and there a lot of scams about, but you'll pay dear. Look here:-

Alternatively, send your old unit back here and have the Sony conversion. In effect, you hide the Sony unit somewhere and control it with your old radio, and it includes Bluetooth. Check they do Blaupunkt conversions with him. He's just done the standard conversion on my Radiomobile.

ETA Just noticed that you are somewhat far from our shores! A quick Google came up with this and it seems they are well recommended:-
