My window regulator ECU is playing up and I'm looking for a replacement, but I believe that they're quite hard to find.

The car is a '97 GTA, I believe that the modificato models have a different ECU. I think that the part number is 153096.

try ferrparts.com in the USA, or ricambiamerica, if eurospares or ferrariparts.co.uk don't have it.

Seem to be getting a few parts as being unobtainable now - I guess the joy of owning a modern classic.

Other thought - wonder if you could get it repaired at one of the ECU repair specialists ?

Best of Luck.

What's the issue with it?

The unit in my car is corroded and not functioning properly.

It isn't dropping the window the 1" or so when the door handle is pulled. You have to manually drop the window so that it doesn't pull on the trim.

you've checked the little switch in the door lock functions I presume ?

mine was a little gummed up a few years back, and caused issues

switch is built into back of door locking post in the centre of the photo - it is NOT the interior light switch at the top of the photo.

That switch is what signals the windows to move the 1" on opening/closing.

The window is switched by micro switches. One is on the interior handle and one is on the exterior handle. If neither handle makes the window drop it's not a switch fault.
