Hi all,
My Tuscan Convertible is the very dark Bentley Sapphire Blue with a dark blue roof and ivory interior trim.
The sapphire blue, to my eye, only looks good in strong sunlight ie., once per year when we drive down to Spain.
It also shows up all the tiny spidery scratches that the Spidery Scratch Fairy likes to make on your car every time you go to bed !!!
My previous Tuscan was a bright and 'gay' Purple Paradise
I feel that its the bright and lighter colours that tend to hide these spidery scratches. I also think that lighter colours also show off the body shape much better too.
With all this in mind, I've been thinking of a respray for quite some time now.
I don't want to change the roof or interior and so will stay with blue so am looking for a really bright light to mid range blue with a metallic content.
Can some of you kind gentlemen share photo's of your P&J with the paint names to help me choose.
Work is blocking me posting an image but there's one on my profile.
Thanks in advance,
Tony.
PS
Or should I go for a Union Jack wrap

Here's mine -
GTS Blue which is a Dodge Viper colour.
I don't really like blue and the paint job on mine isn't the best so have too been thinking of a respray, perhaps to a different blue, perhaps to a different colour so am also interested in options. So far, I haven't found a blue that I prefer to the GTS blue though.

I've just bought a Tuscan in Bentley saphire blue and have only seen it in a showroom. I agree its a bit mundane for a tvr, but am hoping it to look lovely in the sunlight. My Tuscan Convertible is the very dark Bentley Sapphire Blue with a dark blue roof and ivory interior trim.

Have you any pics of yours in the sunlight?
Again , not sure if I qualify for your shade of blue ...but mine is Nacht blau (a vw colour) with 1% spectraflair , resprayed by S&D during the previous (previous) owners reign .
It's a darker blue in subdued light , but in the sun the spectraflair really shows through .... hopefully these pictures show it off :

When I purchased my car a couple of years ago it was Crystal Topaz:

Can look very gold in some lights:

How my car originally came from the factory in Spectraflair Topaz:

After we had a minor accident, we got a full respray and wanted to back towards the original colour so we ended up choosing a Ferrari Avio Met basecoat with 3 coats of Spectraflair Lite (cheaper than proper spectraflair but not as strong an effect)
