Can anyone recommend an Engine re-builder?

Looking to get an old engine rebuilt (with good availability of parts).

Can anyone recommend an Engine re-builder that they know does good work?

UK based and not too far north if poss!

I'm not prejudiced against Northerners
It's just that I'll need to trailer it there.

What sort of engine? if it's anything remotely interesting there's probably someone out there who specialises in them.

Yes, I guess Ivor Searle is the main one.

They are top of the list currently.

I was just wondering if anyone had used somewhere less well known who was very thorough with good engineering skills.

He's done all the work on the old man's MGC (running 286bhp) he's done the MGC roadster (standard rebuild) and also doing his MGB race car.
