Before I commit to stainless, does anyone know where I might obtain a passenger side exhaust manifold for the 2.8i cologne engine. Thought I was just changing gaskets, but the manifold fell apart. And that was after spending 10 hours carefully removing the four stud nuts.

I think these are quite rare. I seem to recall reading the exhaust end is different from the original, in that tvr modified it to fit their exhaust system.
Mrzig, mr tank or Adam will be able confirm though.

I have been advised that the passenger side manifold is Ford ands it looks standard. It has the Ford logo & the ref. no. 78TF-9431-CA-7 cast into it
I have just finished removing it completely. The other side is a TVR special.
Was hoping to take the car to the local meet this Sunday!
Now the sun is out I think i will get on with some less frustrating non car work.

Graham.

Hi Mate...The N/S was from a Cortina 2.3 which are just as rare as the TVR engineered one...ACT make a stainless steel pair..If you are having them made bear in mind that it might be best to have the shared ports tube a little bigger and make sure it flows well...I think it was N/S front shared and O/S rear shared..Though don't quote me on it as i can't remember exactly...They could copy the design of the cast ones as they actually had a fairly good flow...Cheers...Ziga
