My dog, bless her, decided to chew the alarm/immob key fob which has now rendered it useless.
I have spoke to Autowatch who installed the initial alarm and they have said that if I can get the serial number off the alarm module, they will be able to send a replacement fob.
Am I right in thinking it will be under the dash cover to the left off the drivers steering wheel?
Also, do I just need to remove the dash cover or is it a bit more than that?
I've looked at this but failed at the first hurdle as I cannot locate any screws for the dash cover so before I start ripping anything apart, I thought I'd ask on here first!

I can't think of anywhere else it would be fitted, look for wing nuts in the hope that someone has had the dash off before you and changed them. If they haven't been changed then buy some before you screw it all back together.

Yep, just undo the top cover and you should find it smile

Um, you are looking underneath?

First one, undo that little flap where the passengers knees would be with two phillips screws.

Look up through the hole and its the nut closest to the windscreen.

Hi, a couple of photos from when I removed mine showing the front fixing (the hole to the left of the instrument panel)which is accessibe once you remove the "glovebox" and feed your hand behind the dash...there is another one at the back of the dash top again accesible through the glovebox apperture IIRC.

The right hand fixing seems to be the most difficult to locate and get a spanner on....its the big hole in the corner.

Hope that helps...Pete

cheers all.

Hopefully, that'll keep me quiet at work tomorrow afternoon!

unless there's swearing a plenty and spanners been chucked around the place!
