The search is rubbish on this site isn't it?

I need to replace my turbos in my next service as they are smoking a little.

I have a 3R can someone remind me where and what I should be getting?

Thanks!

Had one of mine rebuilt at CR Turbos, price depends on what needs doing.

+1 for Universal Turbos.

They can supply new, refurbed, or refurb your existing ones depending on your budget and timescale.

If u intend to change them then Gt2860 or GT2854 if u don't want to go mad with power

Unless you're looking for big power I'd go for refurbished T28's and remap, good for 430ish bhp or get the old ones swapped out for recon T25's. Just got my T28's back and fitted, so far so good and not too expensive.

Oh interesting didn't realise that you could get them refurbished.

I am not looking to increase power, I don't want to make the car unreliable. So happy to stick with T25's unless you all think going for T28's are a no brainer and will not make the car unreliable.

No advantage in getting new ones? Are refurbished ones just as good? Can I send my old ones back to them and will they buy them off me to get refurbished?

They buy back your old ones as part of the refurbishment, so you effectively get someone else's!! Don't see any advantage with buying new as the refurbish turbo's are warrantied. If you are not looking to increase the power, just get the T25's and keep it how it is, the T28's were fitted to the M400.
