new suspension
Discussion
Yes, I would agree, look on the wiki about suspension but also search the most recent threads as there is a great deal of info on choice and subsequent settings. The starting point for settings for the gaz in particular has been described but you will need to do some fine tuning to get the best out of any new set up. I have the gaz classics and so far they are proving good value for money.
Ground clearance?
First & foremost, check the clearance between your sump & the anti-roll bar.
If it's less than 15 mm, then your engine mounts are sagging & need replacing.
Loverly job, you'll enjoy it.
Go for the 50 mm thick ones plus shims if you need them. The higher your engine, the higher your exhaust. But be careful you don't crunch the dizzy against the bulkhead.
Once you've done that, check out our suspension Wiki on this forum for all the wondrous choices supplied by all these lovely peeps on here.
And stay well clear of all the Stockport speed humps & enormous potholes if you ever venture to the northwest.

Glen

Cheers Glen , no probs with sump clearance, i up rated the engine mounts when i first bought the car, problem is with the rear end, still got original shocks and springs, front has got gaz classics.
looking at protechs on racetec direct seems a good price for a full kit @ £500.
where is the best place to get a new water pump for the 2.9 got a bit of a growl coming from mine.

Any reputable Motor Factor should be able to get you one, Eurocarparts etc.put Ford Granada 1990 2.9 in the search, doubt it will work off your TVR registration
