Hello, just a quickie, off hand does anyone know the size of the steering wheel bolts?? You know the ones, i have 9 of them and they screw into the hub. Mine have an allan key slot. I just fancied getting some new shiny ones!
I don't know if they are all uniform or different sizes from car to car.
Thanks in advance to phillpot (because i know he knows)yes
Cheers all

Aha, earlier type!

I'm currently using a "Momo" wheel from a Chimaera, still only six, still M5 but only about 10mm long.

Do yours have nuts on the back, or screw into something, if nuts they will be 8mm if screws are M5

ETA ..... edited to add smile

Thanks very much mike, they screw into a big chunky metal hub/boss, but they are not countersunk, so M5 sounds good to me.
Cheers

I LOVE the earlier S interior. Far nicer in my eyes than the later ones.
Just showed the pic to Erin Dawes, who hates TVRs, and she said "lovely" with no irony in her voice.

I believe you have the Mota Lita wheel, since the hub has 9 screws. They are indeed M5, 16mm long did the trick for me. I ordered a box of 50 and have 51 left, but I'm a long way away so it's probably best to find some local to you.

If the Saffron Walden part of Essex, try Glenwoods in Linton (on the industrial estate). Just got my 7/16 UNF longer bolts for my seat belts from there. If the Sarfend end of Essex I haven't a clue, but know an engineer in Chelmsford who will know.

Try Ebay. I've just got some off there for a project I'm working on.
