Sorry about the title, I don't know what the part is called I'm after!

There is a wheel (not the tensioner but similar wheel in size) that is on the run between the power steering pump and the air conditioning pump, does anyone know the part number, is it Ford? The bearing on mine is really dry and squeaking/rumbling badly.

Thanks,

Mat

fit a belt that does not require the tensioner as per the later cars... £7 from ebay.

This is the part I am after, sorry about any confusion. The manual calls it an idler pulley, I will do a bit more digging around to try and find a replacement unless anyone already knows what I need?

Can I do away with this part Andy?

You can only not fit that item if you remove the air con . I got a replacement from Jetstream .

My mistake I was indeed referring to water pump belt rather than the power steering lol

It's a cheap part, like tuxman I got a new one from jetstream but my old one was fine just replaced it as the rest of the engine etc was new.
