I'm suprised you noticed the colour, it's looking decidedly brown rather than red at the moment, I'm quite proud of how dirty it is to be honest.

I was in the shell petrol station in a small village by a double roundabout, not sure of the name. I actually heard you first, chuckled to myself, thought dam I wish my TVR did not have an ecu fault and then saw you! I wanted to waive but thought you probably would not see me, and i did not want you to think I was a nutter!

Ah, the petrol station that always runs out of optimax by the end of the day. You'd think they would have learnt how much to get by now

If you were up that way heading back to Harrow I would have thought you would go to the Shell garage in Watford at the Dome roundabout - it's usually the cheapest around by far.

Worth remembering, when I am in the TVR, I normally go to the one in pinner green, but a longer run out sounds a good idea! The clio 1.2, we have as second car (under powered vehicle) actually appears to have an engine when you squeeze some optimax in it, so yes I was plonking in some of shells finest.
